We began this writing project by reading various tales from around the world written by the popular author, Robert San Souci. We used his stories to inspire us to write our own folktales.

Specific objectives for this project included:

-Identify general narrative elements

-Identify elements of a folktale

-Write own folktale that include narrative and folktale elements

-Identify and correct sentence fragments

-Use similes, adjectives and adverbs to improve description

-Use correct punctuation with written dialogue

We hope you enjoy our stories!
