In your lab you are determing the spring constant of the spring that you used. Page 370 from text provides further help. Also any research you can do on Hooke's Law will help. To do list. a. Plot the points. Try to use as much of the coordinate plane (graph paper) as possible. Be sure to label the axes and title the graph. b. Draw the error bars. You determine the horizontal error bars and vertical error bars are probably going to be too small to be significant. If so, you must state that. c. Draw line of best fit. d. Draw maximum and minimum gradient lines. e. Calculate the slope of the line of best fit, max and min gradient lines. Show your work and include units in the solution. Critically important to look at the rubric and focus on all components of Standard 10 to insure you have met all requirements. |
