4-12. Clocks and SHM review

4-8. Period of a Pendulum and Spring-Mass System

4-6. Finish Period of a Pendulum Gizmo.

3-26. Lab Due. Book Problems. PG 371: 1-4. ExploreLearning Gizmo: Period of a Pendulum.

3-24. Lab Work. The complete lab report is due on Friday (standards 9-11). Be sure to follow the lab write-up guidelines and the rubric (both found below in class resources) while completing your lab. If you are leaving early for Semana Santa I expect an electronic copy in my mailbox before break.

3-22. Continued Lab Work. I expect all of standard 9 done. For standard 10, complete all of the data tables (raw data and processed data). You should also produce a scatter plot with the line of best fit. Hold off on doing the rest as I still need to explain some items to you.

Also, you will need to complete the following problems from the book by Friday. PG 371: 1-4. These problems are directly related to the lab report and will strengthen your understanding of the process.

For those that did not submit anything today (Monday) ... you will not be penalized. Instead, I will reward those that did turn it in with extra credit.

3-12. Hooke's Law Lab Standard 9 and part of Standard 10 due on our next day of class.

3-8/10. Vernier Calipers and the start of Simple Harmonic Motion (Hooke's Law)

3-4. Errors, Uncertainties, Scatter Plots, Gradients

ECA Late Work Policy

Test Corrections Policy: each student is given the opportunity to correct their tests.  When the test is fully correct, they will earn back 1/3 of the points they missed.

1. Students may use their notes, the textbook, and Mr. Supplee.

2. Corrections are NOT to be done with other students or tutors.

3. Students may NOT look at each other's tests.

4. Corrections should be done on a separate sheet of paper.

5. Incorrect problems should be re-done from start to finish.

6. Violations of 1, 2, and 3 will result in losing this opportunity for the remainder of the year.
