All of  those links and more can be found at the right throughout this site.  The focus of technology classes in middle school vary a bit.  First and foremost, we work on the fundamental concepts essential to student success in their other middle school classes.  Therefore most lessons at the start will center around Microsoft Office with the goal of attaining fluency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.  From there students will delve into multimedia based applications such as web editing in Microsoft FrontPage and digital imagining using Macromedia Fireworks and Corel Photo-Paint.  All grades work on many of the same programs at a varying complexity, and in grade 8, students will also develop skills in animation (Macromedia Flash) and robotics (Lego Mindstorms).  I look forward to another excellent year of technology!  So, get ready, get set, and Get Your Geek Up!
