Anytime Anywhere Learning - our vision

As we move into the rapidly changing world of “broadband wireless” communications we need to review and redesign the way we prepare our students to face the new challenges of a technologically changing world. Modern communication and technologies are having an increasing impact on learning – how we learn, where we learn, when we learn, learning resources we have, and why we learn.

At ECA we believe that technology is a revolutionary force that can radically reshape the way we communicate, work, play and do business. We are committed to preparing our students to meet the needs of an ever growing and shifting new “digital economy”, and to help them become successful and responsible members of the “digital” society.

As we move from the information age to the knowledge age we must be “geared” to prepare our students not to just be consumers of information but to become producers of “meaningful” information. We understand and realize the need for a timely response to these challenges and as a result of this we would like to create a successful and meaningful Anytime Anywhere e- Learning Program to help us build a school for the future. We are preparing to empower our teachers and students to realize their full potential through our vision to build a connected and distributed learning community.

Our vision for the Anywhere Anytime e-Learning program is centered on the learning needs of our students. We envisage a connected and distributed community of life long learners who are connect with each other through the comprehensive and systematic use of technology combined with a rigorous and relevant curriculum and a career preparation component.  We believe that the Anywhere Anytime e-Learning program will serve as the catalyst for the transition from traditional learning to a student-centered, problem solving, and project driven approach. It will transform the way we design, develop and deploy our educational program and will enable our students to go beyond the boundaries of their classroom and provide them with access to worldwide resources, anywhere and anytime.

Successful application and integration of technology depends on student and teacher access to technology. All the research indicates that student performance increases, resulting in them becoming quality communicators, creative problem solvers and inventive collaborators, when they have access to the technology at all times. At ECA we believe that consistent and constant access by the students to the learning tool (technology in this case) strengthens their evolution as a critical thinker, and thereby ensuring their success and preparedness for the future. The learning paradigm will be transformed to a just-in-time model rather than a just-in-case model.

Learning within the Anytime Anywhere e-Learning program will fulfill the future needs of our students and will prepare them to face the challenges of an already technologically advanced world.
