CARACAS, VENEZUELA - In commemoration of ECA’s 70th anniversary, the superintendent and board of directors have announced a series of new construction plans for the school. According to the coordinators, “the new construction plans will grant ECA infrastructure that’s fit for the twenty-second century, ensuring its excellence for another seventy years to come”. IB On the Edge: New Curriculum Additions

GENEVA, SWITZERLAND - Last week the members of the executive board of the IBO released the 2007-08 curriculums and announced IBthat they decided to add classes with more practical applications so students can have a real grasp of what the future holds for them. For years they’ve wanted to launch these courses, but their curriculums, internal assessments and final exams had to be prepared. After years of hard work, they managed to accomplish all of this.  Several schools around the world have started to integrate the new courses into their program and hope to inspire a more diverse population of students to take the IB diploma. CARACAS, VENEZUELA - Whispers of another intense construction project are circulating ECA’s already-first-rate campus. Although there is no confirmation as to whether these plans will actually be taken a step farther, they are not completely fabricated. We promise. Athletes are keeping their fingers crossed for an extension to Turfy, book worms for an addition to the library, and the centenarian ice cream man for his own kiosk to rid himself of the tedious task of pushing the ice cream cart every afternoon up the hill.
